The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA) requires municipalities to prepare and update accessibility plans every two (2) years. Link to: The Town of Beausejour's Accessibility Plan. Part of the update and planning process is public consultation. Input from individuals facing disabilities or organizations that support them is an important part of identifying barriers.
As defined by Accessibility Manitoba, barriers may be attitudinal, technological, systemic, physical, or related to communication and are further defined in the body of the survey.
The Town of Beausejour is committed to working towards an accessible environment for all. To help us achieve this, we would like to hear from those in the community and invite you to complete a short survey on accessibility.
The survey, which can be found below, is six (6) questions long and depending on the amount of input shared, should take most respondents a few minutes to complete.
If you require the survey in an alternate format, please contact the Town of Beausejour by phone at 204-268-7550 or by email at townoffice@townofbeausejour.com.
