About Us
Beausejour Handivan Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides supportive transportation services to clients in the Town of Beausejour and the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead.
Direction and policy are set by a volunteer board that meets monthly. Board meetings are open. Interested community members are invited to consider serving on the board.
Operations are funded by the Province of Manitoba, Town of Beausejour, RM of Brokenhead, user fees and community donations.
Service
Beausejour Handivan provides door to door rides to older adults and anyone with a temporary or permanent impairment that limits their mobility .
Rides within the area and rides to Winnipeg or other locations outside of the area can be booked. Clients are transported on one of two wheelchair accessible vans driven by competent and helpful staff drivers.

| **When picking up passengers at the airport, a permit is required for vehicles to park in the commercial lane. The fee is $20 and must be purchased two days in advance by emailing info@waa.ca or phoning 204-987-9402 and using your credit card. We can then park and go into the terminal to locate our passengers. The permit is good for one day. | |||||||||
Trip Schedule/Charter Trips/Group Excursions
The Beausejour Handivan organizes group trips to shopping and dining venues, cultural and sporting events and scenic destinations. Brochures can be picked up at the Town of Beausejour Municipal Office or check "The Clipper" Newspaper for excursion listings.
